What a beautiful cottage, superb views and great location
What a special place! We arrived to a stunning sunset and a rainbow, and had a chance to enjoy the terrace on sunny afternoons. Cosy, comfy, welcoming Gull Cottage! (Brilliant well equipped kitchen too!)
A lovely weekend exploring and eating. Will never get tired of this view!
Beautiful cottage, lovely views and a fantastic stay.
Such a treat to wake up to beautiful sea views – dreamy weekend in St Mawes.
We loved this house with its amazing views. So comfortable. We will be back.
A wonderful 2 weeks in this beautiful place. Thank you for all the thoughtful touches! Can’t wait to come again!
Fifth stay at Gull Cottage and awed by stunning views as ever…….
The most beautiful peaceful holiday weather. Amazing – not a cloud in a week. Gull Cottage cares for all your needs. Thank you.
Dear Portscatho Holidays. Thank you for arranging our recent holiday at Gull Cottage. What a week of weather we had- the last of the summer sunshine. How lucky were we?! It was a fabulous house and had everything and more. It was a real privilege to stay there. Please would you pass huge thanks to the owners of Gull Cottage for letting our friends and their dogs come to the house. It was a catalyst for us all getting together which we hadn’t done for over 5 years. We really appreciated it.
Fantastic views which far exceeded our expectations! A wonderful house and we loved St Mawes, we hope to return. Thank you.
What a beautiful house in a beautiful position in beautiful St Mawes and we had a great time here, yes we had already booked for next year! A very big thank you.
Loved staying in Gull Cottage. Weather was beautiful. Look forward to staying again. Thank you for letting us stay.
We had a wonderful stay in Gull Cottage and have experienced all weathers except for snow! On wet days we enjoyed baking bread in the Aga and sitting in from of the wood burner and watching the weather all over the bay. On drier days we have enjoyed coastal walks which usually involved a coffee and a custard tart at Tatums in Portscatho! Many many thanks for letting us stay in your gorgeous home.
What a beautiful house and a stunning location. Weather was wonderful-frosty mornings and sunny days. Such a peaceful, tranquil haven. We will be back!
This is a very special house! Beautifully equipped and everything one could wish for. Aga brilliant! Gales, storms, rain and then sunny spring day-can’t wait for September when we return.
….As a family of foodies, we have been spoilt for choice and excellence at the likes of The Idle Rocks, St Mawes Hotel, The Tresanton, the deli and the butchers.-Wow! We will definitely be back again.
Another great week at Gull Cottage-weather-sunshine and heat and one wet day-5 stars as always…
Gull Cottage is a special place and we loved every minute! St Mawes has fabulous eateries and everyone made us feel welcome. First time exploring the Roseland – beautiful!
The wind howled, the rain drove, the trees trembled- it made one feel ‘alive’….and Gull Cottage the perfect cosy sanctuary from the storms. Wonderful.
Another lovely stay – definitely good for the soul! Can’t wait to return. Many thanks for renting this place out!!!
What a gem! Such a perfect location and a wonderfully welcome home. We’ve walked, swam, kayaked and taken boat trips, relaxed and enjoyed the house. Thank you! Such a warm and comfy place to come back to at the end of the day. Hope to return!
…Been to St Mawes many times and this is the best house…
A fabulous two weeks at Gull Cottage. The house is as wonderful as ever! The view!! A real mix of weather this time but it didn’t disappoint. Lots of walks, paddle boarding and lovely meals at the Driftwood and Nancarrow Farm as well as on the Aga! Fabulous memories made. We’ll be back!!
We had a lovely two weeks in this wonderful cottage. It has a really feel. And what can you say about the view- perfect! Enjoyed lots of great walks in the area. A great favourite the one to St Just and a treat at Miss V’s!! Trelissick never disappoints and the riverside walk is ideal when the weather has been wet. We look forward to visiting again next year. Forgot to mention all the great places to eat. We love St Mawes.
A year later from the last visit the world is still trying to combat an awful pandemic. A world spinning on a new axis. The tranquility of St Mawes and Gull Cottage are a perfect oasis- a reminder of good times, good places, good people.
